Group Hire is a scheme which we offer at West Norfolk Community Transport to allow groups, care homes and schools to hire our vehicles for their own charitable or social use. We have a variety of vehicles available, seating 1-15 passengers, for hire ranging from Minibuses, Caddy’s and an Electric Vehicle.
No, we provide the driver as part of the Group Hire. We do not offer self drive options
Yes, we do require membership. Each group, care home or school wishing to hire our vehicles needs to be a member. There is an annual fee for membership from April to March with an additional charge for each hire. For a membership form and prices give us a call on 01553 770310.
All our minibuses are 15 seats plus driver, however if you are wishing to transport wheelchairs and mobility equipment this does reduce seating capacity. Please discuss your needs when booking.
All our vehicles available for hire are wheelchair accessible with a tail lift or ramp. All our drivers are competent in loading and securing wheelchairs into the vehicles. We do ask for the make and model of the wheelchairs before travel so that we can ensure the wheelchair has been crash tested and has suitable anchoring points to secure in the vehicle.
There is a minimum hire charge which covers the first 35 miles and 2 hours driver time which starts from the vehicle leaving the depot. There is then an additional charge for mileage and driver time used above the minimum. You will be invoiced after the hire, however should you require an estimated cost before hand please let us know.
We offer a 75 mile radius of Kings Lynn for hire vehicles. Vehicles can only be hired on day hire. We do not offer any overnight hires.

When booking your transport, please advise us of any mobility aids that will be travelling with you.
